Making learning more accessible and inclusive.
Kits Beyond Sound is a youth-led nonprofit that began by supporting Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students and has since expanded to serve diverse learning needs and communities. Through sensory resources, tactile learning tools, inclusive education, and community-driven initiatives, we work to remove barriers and create more accessible ways to learn.
Our Story
It started with sound.
Founded by young musicians, Kits Beyond Sound began with a commitment to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children. Working with educators showed us how sensory and tactile learning could support students with diverse learning needs. That experience inspired us to expand beyond classrooms, connecting communities with books and educational resources.
